Huge yes to this. Good advice for art making, too, and life in general. As a curator, there are so many moments in between shows that are utterly gorgeous, with art on carts and waiting to go up on walls.

I’ve always worried that when I put things down during a move, they won’t find their final home or fulfill what I intended for them. But you’re right - maybe they already found their home in that placement. They’re still there, and maybe that’s exactly where they’re meant to be.
