This was such a fun read! I always look forward to your emails—the imagery is stunning, the writing is beautiful, and your perspective is so intriguing. Thank you for introducing me to your Cultivar throw, it's perfection and I think I need one for myself!
I love all of this! So glad I found your Substack! So...... for those of us that have always used a duvet and insert, do these bedcovers simply drape over your entire setup, or replaces it? Or maybe it doesn't matter. Love it.
Oh, I’ve been there...standing over the bed wondering if there’s a right way to do this. The lovely thing is: there really isn’t. These bedcovers can absolutely go right over your duvet and insert if you love that layered, cozy look (and the extra warmth). Or, if you’re ready to simplify and lighten things up, they work beautifully on their own — just like a quilt or coverlet.
I’ve tried both, depending on the season and how ambitious I feel about laundry that week. In summer, I ditch the insert. In winter, I let the bedcover drape right over everything like a forgiving hug. Either way, it ends up looking pulled-together and feeling peaceful, which is really the point.
Very much into your rhythm as of late. As a frequent Substack reader - I have looked forward to your themes each week.

This made me smile. Thank you for reading with such heart. And yes, the bedcover really does do half the work for me.
I adore my heavy weight Cultivar linen throw by you! It’s the best shade of dark brown and is currently living with me here in Paris. 🤎🤎🤎
This absolutely made my day, Carol! So glad you’re loving your Cultivar throw — and in Paris, no less! That dark brown is one of my favorites too 🤎

We could all use a hug! Thank you. xx
I love it when the blanket drapes and pools in the corner - it’s more romantic that way…😍
